Claire Anderson is an Essex based Multi-Award-Winning Cake Artist who is recognised as one of the finest airbrushing & hand-painted cake specialists in the UK.
Claire has a passion for creating stunning bespoke cakes & quality cake decorating tools & also teaches highly sought-after classes nationally & internationally & has students coming from all over the world to attend. Her tutorials have featured in several cake & Sugarcraft magazines & her beautiful cake creations have also graced The Times, Reddit, Huffington Post, Good Morning America, ABC News & various other publications worldwide.

“I was born with a paint brush in one hand & a rolling pin in the other. From the age of 3 I would spend hours in my garden painting or in the kitchen making jam tarts – I played with the pastry so much they were grey, I am so grateful that my parents were such great actors when they tasted them!”
“My love of art grew & after school I went onto Art college & specialised in illustration, graphic design & product design. After having a career break to have children I found myself making cupcakes for friends & family, but it wasn’t until a friend, who was an executive chef told me that I could have a career making cakes that I started to think about the prospect more seriously as a home business, initially to juggle childcare.
To improve my Sugarcraft skills & confidence in my new passion I decided to study Cake Decoration at my local college and after 3 years successfully completed NCFE Levels 1, 2 & 3 in Cake Decoration & in 2009 Clairella Cakes was born & I am proud to say the business has grown organically ever since”
In 2014 Claire also launched her amazing range of Clairella Cakes cake decorating products which include her own bespoke airbrush kit & stencil range & is constantly looking for more ideas & time saving solutions for cake decorators. These products are also endorsed by Clairella Cakes Brand Ambassadors who are all award-winning experts in the cake industry.
Claire was voted one of the UK’s top 10 Cake Artists by Cake Masters Magazine in 2018 & is known for her stunning colourful cake creations worldwide but will always design cakes with her clients brief in mind should they desire a more traditional cake. First & foremost Claire cares as much about your cake as you do & it is important to her that she makes the perfect cake especially for you!
